KINDERGARTEN 3 YEAR OLDS

The VCA K-3 children are “Great in the Kingdom Matthew 18:4. With lots of energy the K-3 class is always on the move!.

K-3 Teachers are entrusted with the great responsibility of teaching the A,B,C, & D's: A, for Affection; B, Boundaries; C, Consistency; D, Discipline. These are the building blocks of our class. We teach Bible verses through stories and songs, Language Arts, Listening Skills, Manners, and Numbers. Numbers consists of simple counting, 1-30, and number concepts. Phonics recognition of their name and sounds, and an extension class of Music rounds out their day. Watch your child blossom into what the Lord has for them at Victory Christian Academy!

KINDERGARTEN 4 YEAR OLDS

The K-4 class are called "The Little Engines That Can." Our class scripture is, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”, Philippians 4:13. Our class is fun and exciting and we are always growing. Our curriculum consists of Bible, Phonics, Cursive Writing, Numbers and Language. We also have Art, Music, Library, Computer and Physical Education once a week. It is truly a privilege and an honor to be part of these children’s lives, to watch them grow in wisdom and in stature, fulfilling their place in God’s Kingdom.

KINDERGARTEN 5 YEAR OLDS

We are the K5 "Busy Bees" for Jesus!  We learn to read, write in cursive, count to 100, tell time, and add numbers with sums up to ten!  We also learn about the four oceans, seven continents, poetry and so much more.  But what we are really excited about is learning about God’s plan for our lives!  After all, we need to know how He wants us to use our knowledge to help build His kingdom!

1ST GRADE

Our first grade children are known as ‘The F.I.R.M’.  We are "Friends who Inspire, Respect and Motivate" each other.  Our inspirational scripture verse is from Psalm 133 v 1, which says “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!”  We encourage and support each other to excel in all we do and try to lend a helping hand when needed.  Our core subjects are Bible, Math, Reading, Phonics, Handwriting and History/Science.  We are learning about people who help us, and we are learning that it takes many people to help us grow into the fine young people we need to becoming.  Our extension subjects are Art, Music, Library, Computer Technology and P.E. We are learning all about how to be good stewards of our time and effort as we complete ‘Seatwork’ for the first time.  We are producing some lovely work.  We are excited to be growing in so many ways.  As our year progresses you will see that we have grown inches taller and have a few wobbly teeth being replaced by grown up ones.  Be prepared to be amazed, because you will also be able to chart our growth academically, socially and spiritually as well!

2ND GRADE

Second grade is a wonderful age to teach!  It is an age of transition from using tablets like the little ones to using wide-ruled paper like the older children.  Second graders also begin many challenging concepts in Math, including borrowing in subtraction as well as an introduction to multiplication.

3RD GRADE

The VCA third-graders are known as the "Soaring Scholars".  Our scripture verse is Matthew 18:4, “Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven.”  We incorporate Bible, Math, Reading, Health, Science, Penmanship, Spelling, History and Language into our curriculum.  Students have specific time given for Music, Library, Computer and Art.  Third graders are gifted by God with an unceasing sense of curiosity for each one of these subjects and more.  The third-graders have a growing science corner and a journal for stories, feeding the curiosity that will lead to discovery.

4TH GRADE

The VCA fourth grade class is known as the "Fishers of Men." Our scripture verse is Matthew 4:19, “And He saith unto them, follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Fourth graders have 9 core subjects- Penmanship, Bible, Math, Spelling, Reading, Science, Health, Language, and History. They also have four extension classes-Art, Music, Library, and Computer. Fourth graders are blessed and highly favored, loved by God, we are our brother's keeper and walk in prosperity thank you, for asking!

5TH GRADE

We are the "Mighty Fifth Graders" and we stand proud in the faith and belief that Jesus is our Supreme Being, we worship and adore Him.  Our main goals are to live lives that are acceptable unto Him and study to show ourselves worthy of His glory and honor.  Our main goals here at Victory Christian Academy are to prepare ourselves to be great stewards of the things that have been given unto us.  We are equipping ourselves by studying Bible, Mathematics, History, Language, Social Studies, Reading, Physical Education, Health, Music and Art. Our aim is to always to Lift Christ Jesus Higher.
